Our Story

Hand embroidered keepsakes, thoughtfully made to preserve the moments, words, and memories that matter most.

The Story Behind Rowe's Room

Rowe's Room began after my son, Rowan, was born. Like so many mothers, I suddenly wanted to hold onto everything. The tiny footprints, the first scribbles, the words I never wanted to forget. I started creating keepsakes for our own home as a way to preserve those moments, and before long I was creating them for other families too. Every piece I make is rooted in the same hope: that years from now, it brings you right back to this season of life.

But this story actually started long before motherhood. As a little girl, I loved opening my family's cedar chest and reading old birthday cards, handwritten notes, and little keepsakes that somehow carried whole memories with them. When I look at Rowan's name hoop now, I don't just see thread. I remember sleepy newborn cuddles, onesies with a million buttons, and learning to breastfeed. That's what I hope these pieces become for your family too. Not just beautiful décor, but something that makes you stop, smile, and remember exactly how it felt.

Our Process

Every Rowe's Room keepsake is stitched entirely by hand. There are no embroidery machines, digital tracing, or automated stitching involved. Each name, footprint, ultrasound, and handwritten note is carefully prepared before every stitch is placed by hand using needle and thread.

I chose this traditional process because it's how the heirlooms we treasure were made. The keepsakes our grandmothers tucked into cedar chests weren't perfect, they were personal. Every tiny variation is part of the story. My hope is to create pieces that feel just as timeless, becoming something your family will display, treasure, and one day pass down.

Made to be Kept

In a world of fast production, every Rowe's Room keepsake is intentionally slow. Each one is made by hand with the hope that it becomes part of your family's story for generations.
